LONDON, May 29. j Stockholm telegrams state, Sir Hubert Gough, in charge of a British military mission in Finland, announc- 1 es: “I will complete arrangements to feed, the people of Petrograd directly the city is captured. The Bolshevik leaders have fled, leaving the town in the hands of leaderless soldiers. Street fighting has commenced between the workmen of Petrograd and Letts and Chinese, who now control the city.

ALLIES AND KOLCHAK.

LONDON, May 27

It is believed the Entente will recognise Admiral Kolchak immediately. M. Seminoff, an anti-Bolshevik, in an interview in London, said all Russian parties, except the Bolsheviks, were associated with Kolchak. A new Government at Archangel in the north and General Denikcns followers in tho south were pledged to hold a Constituent Assembly as early as possible.

INTERVENTION OPPOSED,

PARIS, May 27.

M. Kerensky, (Leader) and seven other members of the First Russian National Asembly and also the officials of two other Republican Societies have issued a manifesto protesting against the recognition of Admiral Kolchak, or any Allied intervention in Russia, until such is asked for by the Government. They are willing for tho recognition of the National Assembly.

OPERATIONS NEAR PETROGRAD

LONDON, May 27

A Moscow wireless message states the Bolsheviks have abandoned Gdov and retired to new positions south thereof. Bolshevik warships bombed the villages northwards of Narva. The Esthonians advancing in tho direction of Yamburn and Narva, captured an armed train and many machine guns and prisonered fifteen hundred Bolsheviks.
