There are five nominations for the Harbour Board, (three seats) : five for three scats 011 the Hospital Board, and four for to scats on the High School Board.
HASTINGS
Mayoralty :—Messrs Fred Cook, (01chardist), George. Ebbett, (solicitor), W. Hart, (ex-Mayor), H. lan Simpson, (sitting Mayor). Thirteen nominations were received for the Council; for the Hospital Board, Messrs F. King, Lesley Fowler Nat Beamish; and for the Harbour Board Mr. T. Styles.
