OFFICIAL COUNT.; WELLINGTON, April 13. The Returning' Officers will begin the official counts of the civilian votes this week, after they have received: the parcels of absent voters’ permits from various parts of the country. Their official' 'announcements will include tlie votes cast by the absent voters and seamen.
It is estimated that there are not less than 12,000 of these votes still to he included in the returns. (
CANADIAN LIQUOR VOTE. MONTREAL, April 11. There has been a vote here on tli o liquor question. The referendum went overwhelmingly in favour of beer and wine.
