Several shots were fired and windows were broken, but there were no casualties. ' A meeting of returned' soldiers and sympathisers carried a resolution calling upon Government to deport Bolsheviks and Senator Ferrucks, otherwise steps would be taken to remove them. ' Cabinet has closed all hotels- in the city until further notice. OUT OF HAND. (Received this dav at 12.25 p.m) SYDNEY, March 26. 1 It is practically admitted now that the epidemic is out of hand and the hospital accommodation inadequate. People are advised to prepare for treatment of cases in their own houses. 1 SUBSIDY REFUSED. 1 SYDNEY, This Day. 1 -Government after consideration of a request by a deputation from Cobar to subsidise, the mines refused.
