Inside, three other dogs stood guard over the bodies of the farmer, Moses *Glen, 70, and his aged housekeeper, Mary MacDaid, who were both dead. Poison was thrown into the house and the three dogs snapped it up and died immediately. The other three ran offin fright, but afterwards j returned to their position at the , door.
