The Press Bureau reports the Treasury states it is impossible to dispense altogether with control of capital issues, but it is necessary to recousider the principles governing the sanctioning, in order to avoid placing unnecessary obstacles in the way of providing capital for the speedy restoration of commerce and industry. In view, however of the number of fresh issues, it is expected that new regulations will be made prohibiting their issues, except under Treasury license, and the Capital Issues Committee has been reconstructed with new terms of reference.

A Bureau communique from Paris states a meeting of representatives of the Great Powers at which Marshal Focli was present referred the Albanian claims to the Greek Affairs Committee and also considered information and proposals from the Inter-Allied Commission at Warsaw. The Reparation Commission decided to hasten the work of the sub-commit-tee entrusted with the valuation of damage and means of payment. Mr Hughes was chosen President of the third sub-committee appointed to study measures of control and gaurantees. YPRES FUTURE. ROTTERDAM, Feb. 25. The Burgomaster of Ypres denies that -Ypres will be rebuilt on n new site.-. He says it will arise again from the ruins.
