MR WILSON'S MESSAGE
FAITH PINNED ON AMERICA
fAUSTRALIAN it N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION] NEW YORK, Feb. 24. President Wilson, speaking at Bos- r ton, said as the result of America go- f ing into the war, the European Nations were buoyed up. there would tie a better order of / things than in the past. Everyone in Europe pinned faith in America as the friends of mankind. Mr Wilson said lie no more doubted the verdict of America than he “doubted the blood that is in me.” If the National Governments fail to do things to which they had set their hand at the peace table, the peoples themselves will select other Governments. The Nations must not start short of their purpose of establishing a permanent and durable peace.
