QUEEN IN FILM PLAY.
LONDON, December 5. The Queen made here first appearance in a kinema play last Saturday morning when her Majesty was filmed in an idl-British production—“ Women who Win.” In the story of the play the heroine, | left penniless by the death of her father, is found work m an aircraft factory by the Women s War Bureau, an institution which is actually finding employment on a large scale for women apfi girls. One -of the most interesting situations is the scene where the heroine is pictured hard at work helping to win the war, and this episode wa s staged 'at- the aircraf t exhibition in tile Agricultural liall, Islington. I
Keenly interested in women’s service to which a portion of the profits of the play will be (leyoteil. the Quran visited the Exhibition on Saturday, when the film was being ~-uu'n and during the course of her inspection she chatted with the heroine, who was busily repairing damaged wing fabric while her hero lover remained admiringly in the background, “How Jong have you been here?” asked the Queen. “Only one day. your Majesty," replied the actress. “I’m afraid I’m only an amatuer,” slip added, explaining the reason of her presence.
