One of tho finest games in the Dominion Bowling Tournament was played to-day. between Rosamond and Howson (Gisborne), and M’Larcn and Maxwell Walker (Ponsonby) in t,ho filial of the pairs Championship. The excitement al the final end was intense, flcwson drew the shot with liis last /bowl when his opponents lay three. There was some suspense when Walker, who had another bowl, elected to drive; but he ran wide after glancing a 'bowl in front of kitty, and the game ended; Gisborne, 1C; Ponsonby H.
