In the first innings Wellington made 333. To-day Canterbury completed their first strike for 188. Foster made 31, Patrick 43, Wood 29, and Brunton 23. Wellington’s second innings yielded only 1(53. Burton made 20, Lambert •18,, Hutchings 29. Canterbury have now lost t"o wickets in tho second innings for 129 runs.
