CAPETOWN, Dec. 2

Dr. Caington, medical superintendent of Grey’s Hospital contributed an article to a Maritzburg paper dealing with so-called Spanish Influenza. Tie claimed he has succeeded in isolating StriptoBaccilluSj which generally was regarded as a plague, but nevertheless is no new species; also that it is similar to bubonic plague. This bacillus was found in hosts in rats, fleas and other vermin.
