BRISBANE November 18. The Premier declines to accede to Mr Hughes request that the AgentGeneral support him in his protest of Australia not having been consulted regarding peace terms. Mr Ryan advised the Agent that, liis Government

to associate itself with Mr Hughes in condemnation of the Imperial Government in the absence of positive ovid-

According to Berlin messages President Wilson has informed the Govenment that the maintenance of laiv and ; order is to prerequisite of the armistice which will he dissolved if Joffe and other Russian Bolshevik representatives return to Germany.

Admiral Beattv has ordered that the light cruisers Emden, Frankfurter, Brummerbrenise, Kola, and Dresden leave port, not, later than five in the morning of the 18th. with reduced crews and no ammunition. A great concourse of Allied warships will meet them "at an appointed rendezvous. Admiral Beatty is accepting the surrender on the Queen Elizabeth. ENEMY SUBMARINE CREWS PARIS, Nov. 17. As an inducement to the crows to take the submarines to England they have been insured each for 10,000 marks and offered a. gratuity of 500 marks. The Council announced that Admiral "YVymss has promised each crew immediately a free return to Germany.
