, Tlie Legislate Council met at 1’ a.m.. and after the transaction of formal business the Council adjourned for the purpose of presenting the new Speaker, Hon. Carncross, to the Gov-ernor-General.
On resuming at 2.30. p.in. the Legislative Council Act (1914) Amendment Bill was referred to the Statutes Revision Committee, when the Council adjourned till 2.30 p.in. on Tuesday next.
