NEWS of the reception Peace will be signalled by the ringing of bells and the hoisting of Hags oh the Public Buildings. Thereafter a PUBLIC HOLIDAY is declared and also for the day following. At 3 p.m. a Procession will be formed in Hamilton Street under Lieut. McGregor, Marshal. A Public Peace Celebration will be held in the Open Air at 4 o’clock. Throughout the day the public are invited to hoist flags and decorate their residences; and at night to illuminate shops and dwellings; • Bands parade and Open Air Concerts. The following day Thanksgiving and Memorial Services will bo arranged by tho Clergy.
