VVe advanced far beyond the north of La Oapelle and southwards reached a general line of Effry, Origny Enthierache. „ Further oast we border the river Thon as far • as Leuze, 15 kilos north of Rozoy-sur-Serre. On Aisne front we hold general line of the southern outskirts of the forest of Ligny, thence to Wagnon, Tieil St Remy, Azerny, and la Horgne, realising an advance of over sixteen kilos beyond the Aisne. In the valley of the Barr, our advanced elements are 'bevond Aignan-sur-Barr. VV r e gained n footing south of the Meuse on the heights dominating Sedan.
