(■Received This Dav at 10.15. a. m ; , LONDON, October 29. An American communique states the Verdun front operations are marked with heavy artillerying. Ihe enemy counter attack on Belleau Wood was repulsed. FRENCH AIRMEN. LONDON, October 28. French aviation observers report numerous fires on the Aisne, also in the .valley of the Serre. A fleet of two hundred fachines copiously bombed the enemy back areas in the region of Chateau Porcien making havoc of the communications and .causing heavy losses. j
