SUBMARINE WARFARE
fAUSTRALIAN it N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION]
U-BOATS OPERATING. LONDON, October 28.
There have been Norwegian reports that Ger-man submarines have been seen going homeward flying the white flag, indicating that they had stopped operations. The reports are discredited by the Admiralty. Submarine warfare is still going on, despite the German promise to refrain, as a step {o' peace, from sinking passenger ships. It is reported that even larger and ifaster submarines are now at seaseeking for Allied shipping.
