ITALIAN FRONT SUCCESS. LONDON, October 28. The Anglo-Italian advance on the Piave river is regarded as extremely successful, all objectives being reached. The Italian attack at night on the left was at first delayed somewhat owing to difficulties of bridge construction under heavy fire. Whatever the internal conditions o' Austria, the enemy actual front shows no signs of a declining morale. The enemy are fighting well. A British-Italian official message states the Tenth Army’s line on Sunday night ran: Southward of St. Abinzzo to S°upolo-di-Piavo, to Bordozametti, to Lsega, and Tonon. The Anglo-Italians have prisonoml over seven thousand on the Piave front. The Allies are over four miles beyond the river .

Ah Italian communique states the battle continued fiercely throughout the night and fully developed during the 28th October on the front of the 12th and Eighth Armies. We maintained and extended our bridgehead, despite very lively opposition eastward of Grave di Popoli the enemy ceded to attacks by the fourteenth British and 10th Italian Army Corps. We broke through the enemy lines and liberated Borgomalane, Te Tezzo, Raimiehael le di Piave, Camaldolvo, St Polo di Piave Ormole and entered St Lucia di Piave, and Vazzolo. Prisoners captured and guns arc still uncounted. " In Albania on the morning of the 27th October wo entered Alessia and are marching on San Giovanni di Midua.
