Reports from Bombay state the epidemic is increasing and there are five thousand deaths weekly. TWO DEATHS .AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Oct. 28. Two deaths from influenza occurred at the hospital during the week-end. Robert Jamieson aged 36, a member of the Auckland Fire Brigade and Frederick Mills aged 36, a labourer being the victims. Twenty-eight nurses are off duty owing to the epidemic.
