RANK OF AUSTRALASIA. LONDON, Oct. <l. The Rank of Australasia shareholders at their special meeting considered the proposed resolution (cabled on -oth ultimo) providing for the Rank extending operations beyond Australasia. The Chairman said they ought to he tree from out-of-date restrictions. There was no present intention of going outside the limits of their charter, hut they ought to he able to do so it and when the occasion arises. The resolution was carried. Air. Newton .Moore, (Westralia) was elected to the lat<j Sir Reid’s seat.
