RHINE TOWN BOMBARDMENTS

The Press Bureau reports that a neutral, returned from Germany, states that widespread terror reigns on the Rhine, owing to British air raids. The central portion of the Frankfort main railway station is so damaged that trains are unable to enter, but arrive and departs from all improvised wooden platforms some distance from the station.

BIG AIR ATTACK

AMSTERDAM, Oct. 2

The “Telegraph” states that six hundred aeroplanes co-operated with British warships on Saturday in an attack on the Belgian Coast. The bombardment was extremely effective, especially at the Zecbrugge-Brugcs Canal. There were many fires and explosions.
