A French report states: On the river Vesle our Third Army’s vigorous pressure has been crowned with success. •The Germans have been forced to abandon the plateau between the Aisne and the Rheims region, and they fell back along their whole line. Wo have occupied Maizy, and Concevreux. Further to the right we have taken Meurival, Ventelay, Bouvencourt, Trignv, Chenav and St.JThierry. We captured here since yesterday 2.100 prisoners, also twenty guns, including ten heavies.
