We attacked and made an important advance on a front of sun miles to-day between the Aisne and \ Oslo, capturing despite resistance, Revitlon, Domain, Monteony, Sur \esle Northwards we reached tin? outskirts of Maurivil and Vcntelay. Sixteen hunred prisoners were counted up to tnt Dissent. The battle on the whole Champagne front continues. On our left we flung hack the enemy from the village of St Matieapv advancing beyond it. North of the Somme we reached the bend ot National road and further east after vm lent fighting we captured Auvo village, plateau and woods. In the centre w carried Mariwaux and progressed to tlie outskirts of Mont Moix. enlarged gains north of Sechault m the region of Bouconville.
