Sir Jame 9 Allen has received the following message from Mr Massey :lu “ Sir Joseph Ward, regarding the epidemic pn the New Zealand troop-’hip: “We are exceedingly grieved to ham of the casualties through the pneuhionia epidemic. Please convey to parents and relatives of those members of the Expeditionary Force whose illness has terminated fatally, our heartfelt sympathy and confidence.”
