FISK JUBILEE SINGERS.
The name of “ Fisk ” has been associated with a talented company of singers for so macy years that it.has become a household wotd and very few people in Australia and New Zealand have not beard them at one time or another. Although in the present company there are only two of the original left, the standard has not suffered, new members proving themselves worthy successors. The popularity of the Fisk Jubilee Singers has been well maintained, and to-day their concerts are patronised just as liberally a,s of yore. The reason for this, of course, is the presentation of high class programmes. The company is evenly balanced and apart from individual items the concerted work is exceptionally good. Coon songs and popular airs find a prominent place in the programme and real talent is displayed in the more serious items The company will make their appearance at the Princess Theatre on Saturday, the 28th. The box plan is at Mrs Browne’s.
