POLLARD’S PICTURES. A GREAT PICTURE TO-NIGHT, A beautiful play with a lesson of terrific power, the 8000 ft star picture “ Enlighten Thy Daughterthe problem play to be screened by Pollard’s Pictures to-night at the Princess Theatre. In this great fearless film the lesson is taught to mothers, enlighten thy daughter for prudery may destroy her. The picture is full of great scenes of titanic dramatic power. The light hearted bride to be wonders at the despair of the girl who has not been warned in time. The bridegroom’s bachelor dinner is broken by the awful results of his headless ruin of a girl who bad never been told the truth. The drama is wonderfully acted by a powerful cast headed by the two star artists Ruby de Reiner and Zeena Keefe. ’Whatever may be your views on sexquestions, you must think well of the frank and sincere lesson taught in this great play.

A UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT. A POLLARD PRODUCTION. On next Friday evening at the Princess Theatre Mr Tom Pollard will present a brilliant and unique dramatic spectacular march and ballet entertainment. Miss Ruby Wilding, the charming dansense, has been specially engaged for the solo dances. Big features in the production consist of llie big spectacular ballet march by “ The Amazons,” diessed in full stage uniforms and performed to the accompaniment of brilliant coloured effects. Greymouth’s Amazon Guards have been splendidly drilled by SergeantMajor Armstrong, and the march has been arranged and produced under the direction of Mr T. Pollard. Thirty Greymoutlryoung ladies take part in thi-s big spectacle. Miss Ruby Wilding will be seen in two classic ballet studies, “The Bacchanalian Dance” and “The Dance of Anitras." Mr Ivan Wilson and Miss N. Ghnmi as the captain and vivaudiere respectively will take part in the musical numbers incidental to the production. The two dances set down for Miss Ruby Wilding are “The Bacchanalian Dance,” and “ The Dance of Anitras.” Miss Chunn, Mr Ivan Wilson, Mr O. M’Lean’s Caledonian pupils, etc, take part. The spectacular and concert half of the programme will be preceded by Gilbert’s dramatic contrast in two acts “ Sweethearts,” presented by the Misses Bush and Wykle, and Messrs Leu M’Glashan and Eric Moss. Everything lias been well rehearsed under the personal direction of Mr Toni Pollard,'-and patrons will have an opportunity of seeing one of the old time spectacular marches made famous by the Pollards in trie days of their zenith. Prices of admission are sat. at 2/6, 2/ and 1/, plus war tax, with extra for reserving.
