Tlii> Alexander leaves Pielon on Alonday and Wellington on Wednesday for Nelson and AA r est ’ Coast.
There will be a general rehearsal of Paul Jones to-night at the Princess Theatre this evening. Chorus and Principals are requested to attend punctually at, 7.30. There was a fair audience at the Town Hall last evoning when the Rev. A. Miller of Westport gave a very interesting serios of humorous Scotch readings, which were greatly enjoyed by those present. Rev. Aliller also rendered rt couple of songs in good voice, hearty applause being given for his appreciated efforts.
