Commission show that Goldstein’s two contradictory declarations published on the Ist., accuses the police of accepting bribes of money and suits’ of clothes from Goldstein, in connection with the forged note case., wherein Goldstein was arrested and discharged, alleges that the police placed fire dope in the pocket of one of the I.WAV. The second statement withdraws all the charges and admits that the allegations are untrue. They were made because of the persecution and ostracism suffered through acting as Crown witness.
