(PER rP.ESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.] A DUTCH FINDING. (Received This Day, at 9.25 a.m.) HAGUE, August 24. The reports of the Dutch Shipping Council finding of the Enquiry into the sinking of the Koningent Regentes, was caused by a torpedo. The Dutch Government asks Germany to re-open a thorough enquiry, seeing that Germany does not recognise the immmunity of hospital ships. Britain has assured Holland that no British torpedo was fired in the vicinity.
/ PERUVIAN DEMAND. (Received This Dav at 9.25 a.m.) LIMA, August 24. The Peruvian garrison at Aneor, mutinied and * demanded an immediate declaration of war with Germany the transfer of interned German ships to United States and the despatch of Peruvian troops to Franco. GERMAN REPLY TO SPAIN. (Received this day at 1.30 p.m.) COPENHAGEN, Aug. 24. Germany’s reply to Spain declares the seizure of shipping might sever good relations. ' Germany is ready to consider the limiting of torpedoing to outside tlie danger zone, but cannot give any guarantee on that point, or treat Spain in an exceptional way. Germany cannot abandon the submarine war, which is such a. valuable weapon, but hopes Spain will remain neutral.
BRITISH BALLOON. COPENHAGEN. August 24. An 'English balloon passed northwards of *. Jutland on Friday. Three occupants were observed descending by parachutes, which later were found, but not the men.
