NANCY RAIDED. f AUSTRALIAN & N.Z. CABLE ABBOCIATI IN & REUTEU.j LONDON, Aug. 20. German aeroplanes bombarded Nancy last evening and Albert- Twenty civilians were killed or wounded. AVIATION REPORT. (Received This Day at 1.20 a.m.) LONDON, August 20. General Haig in an aviation report, state in the early morning of the 19th we successfully attacked Pholempin aerodrome, south of Lille. AVe dropped many bombs at a low height and ina-ehine-gunned ground targets. AVe hit severnl aeroplane sheds and started big fires, and drove off enemy machines, which attempted to interfere. All our machines returned. AA'e also bombed Bruges 'Docks, Aisle railway and a number of dumps. AA'e brought down fourteen aeroplanes and drove down seven uncontrollable . Seven British machines arc missing.
