AVe repulsed attacks south of the river against posts we had established to the eastward of the enemy frontier. AVe advanced a short distance east of Fampoiix. after sharp fighting wherein we took prisoners. We also gained further ground astride of the river Lys. We also took Lepintte. and are eastward of Merville. AVe also took A’ierhouck and La Couronne northward of Merville. We repulsed a raid north-east of Locre.
