IKE PATRIOTIC FUNDS.
A HANDSOME DONATION. To-day Air L Alandl handed to the hon. Secretary of the Westland Patriotic Fund a cheque for £IOO being another liandsomo donation from Air Alandl to the funds to assist the Westland soldiers on active service. The donation is earmarked for comforts for the men at the front, and is thus at the disposal of the Loverpool Committee for their Copper Trail effort. The amount will carry the trail from this end a distance of nearly half mile,, which will be a welcome assistance on the long, long trail northwards.
Air Aland] has been a consistent contributor to the local Patriotic Funds since the outbreak of war and his generosity in this respect is in keeping with his oft- expressed opinions as to the conduct of the war to a successful issue. The donation from Air Afandl is a very welcome one—tjho funds being very much needed for the Comforts Fund which the Liverpool Committee controls. Assistance in the same direction from others would be greatly appreciated and relieve from anxiety those who are carrying on the self-im-posed filmic of sending forward giftparcels of comfbrts for the men on service.
