WASHINGTON, Aug 9 It is officially announced that July launchings in American yards were 67 steel ships of 435,244 deadvstoight tons, 63 wooden ships 187.000 deadweight, three composite of IV.OOO deadweight. In the same period 41 vessels of 235,052 deadweight tons were com--9 dieted whereof thirty-six e,f 217,052 * deadweight tons, 5 wooden of* 18,000 deadweight. The* launchings exceed the yearly pre-war output.
