ON AMERICAN FRONT.

ENTIRE REGIMENT WIPED OUT,

NEW YORK, July 10th

The United Press correspondent on the West front states that the German losses on the front of the American positipn arc enormous. The American artillery wiped out an entire German regiment before it was ablo to cross the Marne. It is believed to bo the famous 6th Grenadiers. The German Divisions were so demoralised that they have not appeared in the fighting again. In flic region of Mezv and Jaulgonnc, the German dead lie four and five deep. The American Regimental Commander estimated the German dead in front of his command to number 5000.
