| LONDON,' July 9. i Sir Douglas Haig reports that the Londoners made a successful raid eastward of Arras. Enemy artillery is active against our positions recently .Raptured southward of the Somme. : Sir Douglas Ilaig reports that there is nothing to report. Seven German machines were destroyed, sis driven down uncontrollable, and four British arc missing. ! Wo dropped 19 tons of bombs, principally on the railway connections at Holders, Tournai, Wavbin, and dumps at Warnclon and’Baektmaur. No flying was possible bn the night of the Bth.
