POLLARD’S PICTURES,
BESSIE BARRI3CALE TO-NIGHT. At the Princess Theatre to-night there is a poignant appeal in the Ince Triangle 5-act feature “ Honours Alter,” a big woman’s problem picture that stars Bessie Barriseale in the role of the neglected wife. A helper to the man in the days of stress and struggle, the man’s helper to the heights of success and riches only to be thrown aside as not brilliant enough to be his partner in society's smart set, iho entry to which has been attained by tbe riches that the woman helped to acquire. Lnsernpnlonsly belays a trap for her hoping fo secure a divorce. But her innocence, a revulsion of feeling ill the heart of the man sent to ruin her and later in a scene of intense dramatic power, he turns against the man whom ho denounces as not worthy of the love of so pure a woman. The supporting cast is very strong as may he said of the anxiliaij' pictures that include a splendid Bathe study of “Scenes thtougli Texas,’ and the Cub comedy “The Gipsy Prince.” On Thursday ev> ning next Kihel Clayton will he featured n the big Woild film “ The Web of Desire.
