NEW YORK, June 27. -Bolsheviks are sending Red Guards to villages to forcibly seize the bread from peasants. Battles are raging at Olenska, Viaka, Kurah, Sinibir.sk, Kasan, Koabromakasak of peasants and san, Kosbromnkasan, Ruizian, and Orloff districts. Hundreds of peasants and Red Guards were killed. Baltic sailors in Potrograd resolved and demanded the abdication of the 80lJ^sheviks. Workers employed at munitions and powder stores at Odessa, banded to prevent their seizure by the Germans. . Many were killed.

The situation in Russia is desperate. The overthrow of the Bolshevik regime is expected soon to bo accompanied by bloody street fights. The Red Guards at Tetrograd are already firing on the population for the slightest excuse. -* The new Siberian Government muses to provide Russia with grain, while Lenin remains ruler. Hundreds are. starving to dentdaily. . , The peoples’ only cry is lor bread. Thousands of Russians are digging trenches from Pergola to the Finnish Gulf. The reason is unknown, but r inland is watching the movements with anxiety. ALLIES AID FOR RUSSIA. LONDON, June 27. In tho House of Commons, Lew' Robert Cecil said that the Allied Governments were constantly discussing measures of saving Russia from German invasion, domination anu exploitation, but he was unable to make a definite statement at present on the question of intervention.
