Fresh risings by armed peasantry occurred in the Ivieff district against tho German requisitions. Demobilised soldiers in other parts of the Ukraine, eqipped with rifles and machine-guns, aro revolting against tho new Ukraine Government. Mixed Ukraninn and German detachments have been sent to suppress tho movement. IN SIBERIA.

TOKIO, June 19. The time has arrived for a decisive move to stop German aggression nnd Soviet anarchy in Siberia. The avalanche of foreign opinion which is descending upon Japan lias awakened her to a national sense the inadequacy of its part in the wat, whilst the risks of inaction are imminent. As pronounced earlier, tho opposition to her intervention, on more or less selfish grounds, are now disappearing. The Government’s actual military preparations including co-ordination nnd strengthening tho the High Commands and an agreement with China, are vastly greater than were’the preparations for the Rus-so-Japanese war. Many French, British nnd Italian officials, also business men, refugees from Siberia, have arrived and aro urging immediate intervention. There has been a heavy fall in the Exchange as tho result of a rumour. It is intended to hold a special session of the Diet to discuss immediate action against Germany.

SIBERIAN REVOLTION. (Received This l)av at 10.15. u.u* > STOCKHOLM, June 20. ■ Reports from Petrograd state a counter revolution has overthrown the Bolsheviks’ Government in Western Siberia and captured Tomsk. Aided by the CZecho-Slovak troops, tho fighting continues at Omsk, Ekateringburg and Ufa. Soviet rule is threatened throughout Siberia. The Duma lias summoned the Constituent Assembly in order to settle the form of Government. Lenin declines to negotiate with the rebels, and is sending additional troops to fight them.

THE KIEFF REVOLT. (Received, This Dav at 8.60. a.m.) MOSCOW, June 20. It is reported that tho revolt at Ivieff is spreading to Poltava and Shernigoff districts, where tho peasants are arming. REVOLT PROGRESSING. (Reuter’s Telegram.) (Received This Day at 11.25. a.m.) LONDON, Juno 19. ,A revolt is in progress at Kiev. Artillery stores were blown up nnd there is continuous street fighting. The revolt is spreading. Forty thousand peasants, armed and organised, are participating.
