WELLINGTON, May 4. A general demand is being made for W the review of the cases of the First l)i- ---" vision men who have been exempted from military service by being given jffhat are known as aine dio adjourn'menta. Sir James Allen said yesterday that a report on the subject was in propai.ition. The report would show the number of these men in the various groups and the industries in which they were engaged. The Minister expressed the opinion that unless the public were willto sacrifice something for which were dependent on theso workers, moat of them would have to remain in New Zealand.
