THE CENSORSHIP,

(Received this day at 1.20 a.m.,) , MELBOURNE, May 3. The recent conference of Metropolitan Editors, called by Government to eon sider questions relating to the censorslip of the press, recommended the appointment of an advisory committee representing the newspapers, to act in consultation with tho deputy chief censor.

The Cabinet accepted the recommendation and appointed the editors of three Melbourne dailies and of the newspaper “Worker” members of the committee. ■
