Heuter’s correspondent at- the British Headquarters, reporting on the evening of ' the loth states that the enemy Ims not yet been brought to a standstill in the Flanders battle. Their reoccupation of Neuve Eglise, and their desperate struggle to advance towards Bailleux shows that the enemy is able and willing to continue to pay the appalling price in his attempts to crush the British Army; but on the contrary, every hour the strength of our defence is increasing.
