POSTAL ARRANGEMENTS.
On Good Friday, 29th March, 1918, the Post Office will be closed in all brances. All mails usually despatched on Fridav will close on Thursday the 28th instant, at 7-30 p.m. Town receivers cleared at 7 p.m. There will be a delivery <>voy the counter between 7.30 and 8.30 p.m. on Thursday evening. The Telegraph Office will be open 10 lo 10.30 a.m. and 5 to 5.30 p.m. Telephone Exchange, 9 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 0 p.m. On Easter Monday, Ist April, the Post Office will be open in all branches (except money-order and savings bank) from 9 to 10 a.m. All mails usually despatched on Monday, will close at 8 a.m. except Grey mouth line and overland mail at 6 a!in. Town receivers cleared at 5 a.m There will be no delivery by Letter carriers on East e r Monday, hut a delivery will he made over the counter on Saturday evening (30th instant) at 9.30 p.m. or as soon as the inward mails are sorted. . > The Telegraph Office will he open from 9 n.m. to 11 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m Telephone exchange 8 a.m. to 10.p.m. Country offices will be open in all brances (except money-order and savings hank) irom 9 to 10 a.m. only.
