There was a panic among the depositors of the State Savings Bank and the office has been beseiged for several days withdrawing accounts. Premier Ryan believes that it is an organised attempt to create a scare. Ho assures depositors that there is ample money to meet all requirements. RETURNED SOLDIER’S DEATH. SYDNEY March 22. A returned soldier, Harold John, 61 years of age was found shot dead in his bedroom in Goulburn Street. It is a case of suicide. He arrived from New Zealnnd a few days ago. A NEW APPOINTMENT.
