SATISFACTORY RATIONING. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. — COPYRIGHT.] (Received Ties Tiny ot, 11.25. a.m.) / LONDON March 14. Lord Rhondda says when general rationing is enforced on 7th April, hard physical labour will have an extra fifty per cent of meat, chieflly bacon and very hard physical labourers one hundred per cent extras. This is possible owing to the voluntary self-sacri-fice of the people of United States, and the rationing scheme in London which is proving a great success. BEEF AND BREAD. (Received This Dnv at 12 25. p.c- > LONDON March 14. Hon. Lloyd George at the Free Qhurch Conference, answering the charge that Government favoured beef against bread, quoted a reduction in beef in barrels. He added that there would be no hesitation by government in favour of bread and if they must •jchoose between them.
