WEST COAST SHEEP SELL WELL. (By Telegraph.—Special to Cuardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Messrs Matson and Co. report as follows regarding the above sales on Wednesday. Fat Cattle,—There was a smaller yarding than last week, mostly cows and heifers, [’rices showed no change. Freezing buyers were operating, but got only cows. Enquiry was easier all round, blit the hulk of the entry was sold at prices a shade below the previous markets. Small lots of yearlings and 18-months £5 15s to £7 10s; dry cows, £7 to £9 10s; 2-year old steers £9 5s to £lO.

Fat sheep.—There was a medium, yarding of indifferent quality and prices were about the same parity as last week.
