The six-year old soil of Pa Otene was killed instantly at Karamu bridge, being struck by motor-cycle and knocked into the creek below. Deceased and his brother wore playing on the bridge The cyclist was stunned. SOLDIER’S SAD END. WANGANUI, This Day. A returned soldier, Private Frank Samuel Marshall, was found hanged by the neck, dead, -in the Union boat shed this morning. Deceased is believed to .have enlisted in Dunedin. He served on Gallipoli.
