AUCKLAND February 12

The' Extended miners have decided to resume to-morrow, subject, to a satisfnsetory report as to the safety of the mine, by check inspectors , ‘The Union Secretary states that an examination morning by the Government Inspector, and representaives of the company and the check inspectors, disclosed no gas in the disputed area. In view of the agreement ,the danger from fire will be eliminated by the flooding of the whole disputed area to-morrow morning. The miners have unanimously decided to resume.

The General Manager questioned, said there is no more in the gas question than before.
