Sittings of the Supreme Court at Greymouth are set down for the I3tli Alarch. So far, the following cases have been sot down forbearing:—
CRIMINAL. Rex. v. George Levien (indecent assault). Rex. v. James Blocksag© (theft). CIVIL. s.
Airs Abbott, of Blackball v. Blackball Coal Company, claim for £2OOO damages arising out of fatal accident at the Blackball coal mine in July last, wherein her husband and another named Tippler, were drowned. IN BANCO. Gardiner v. Willis.—This is a mining appeal from tlie decision of Warden Hutchison in the Reefton Warden’s Court. AT WESTPORT.
The following business has been set down for hearing at Westport. Three appeals from decisions of Magistrate Hutchison. —The Denniston Atiners’ Union v. Armitage, over the right to make certain .levies: Allen Smith v. AVhyte, Irwin, Hornahrook, arid the Addison’s Gold Alining rights : and J. H. Powell v. R. Allen, over an award of £34 and costs in connection with a breach of eonvenant to lease certain land. There is also a criminal case, Rex. v. Wrightson, a charge of breaking and entering at Burnett’s Face.
