A PRESS ATTACK. A CATASTROPHE PREDICTED, j (Reuter’s Telegram.) (Received Yesterday at 11 10. p.m.) AMSTERDAM, December 22. The “Vowaerts” makes a sharp attack on the Food, Controller. It- declares the rich are having plenty of agricultural products, and tho middle class maintains itself precariously, but the masses are not only hungry but literally starving. ‘ "It expresses the opinion that tbero might be an absolute catastrophe in Germany within a monflh- The collapse may ‘bo even moro serious -than Russia nnd result in a German defeat, and the entire loss of tho war.
