AMENDMENTS TO REGULATIONS j GAZETTED. WELLINGTON. Doc. 13. 1 Amendments to the regulations for the payment of teachers and staffing of schools are gazetted. Under these amendments, education hoards may appoint as (temporary teachers, uneertificated or unlicensed persons. Such appointments shall not continue more than s ix months after the termination of the war. Tt is declaredytawful for education hoards to appoint permanently to vacant positions certificated members of the Expeditionary Force, although they have not applied for such positions. The . regulations provide for supplementary grants to school committees for incidental expenses during the war.
